Prof. Dr. Zizek was invited by the Hong Kong University of Education to be a visiting professor for the summer of 2025.
In May, Prof. Dr. Boris Zizek completed a research stay at Seoul National University of Education - Hannam University and Daejeon University.
In collaboration with Dr. Zhao Zhenzhou and Daria Brakhage, Prof. Dr. Boris Zizek presented the article “Culture on textbook covers - Comparative microanalyses of lifeword in images on textbook covers between Germany and China” at the International Conference on Language, Culture and Education from April 8-9 - planned publication in 2025
In the spring, Daria Brakhage completed a four-week research stay at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand, to collect data for her dissertation.
On January 21, 2025, Prof. Dr. Zizek gave a lecture entitled “On the Motivation, Structure, and Future of Digital Adolescence” as part of a lecture series at the University of Cologne.
