Institute of Education

The IEW's teaching deals with basic and in-depth questions of educational science. On the one hand, these are specific to the teaching profession (school, teaching and professional theory) and on the other hand, they are oriented towards socialisation. Through different methodological approaches, students also gain an insight into everyday academic life and can deal with specific questions in a competence- and case-orientated manner.

Start of the Semester

  • Course Selection

Registration for courses on Stud.IP is possible approximately 4 weeks before the start of the lecture period. The draw procedure decides on the allocation of places in the seminars approximately one week before the start of the course. After the lottery procedure, you have until the end of the first week of lectures to register for seminars with free places.

Please note: In order to be able to transfer, you must deregister from the waiting list beforehand. Only then is it possible to register for another course in the same module.
